I have two youngsters.. ..a third around the way. Labor with my very first child went somewhat smoothly. I had an epidural and aside from the" scorching spots" I even now had and it wearing off using the dr. in surgical treatment.. .it went okay. All was well with my 2nd child till I was fully dilated. All of the sudden my blood pressure plummeted and I handed out. I don't remember significantly ... my sister yelling my identify, folks running. The nurse gave me four doses of ephedrin just before I came to. The child was coming and I pushed twice and she was here. Later my nurse (also my buddy) advised me I frightened her to death and that 4th dose of ephedrin was the max. they could give me. Obviously, I'd prefer to steer clear of this happening again! It gave me a fairly great scare. My new OB says it was probably due to the epidural so I'm considering not having one (Ridiculous!!!!). Anybody have this occur?? I'd enjoy to listen to any advice!
